Terms of Service

1. Preamble

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Sentinel Briefing platform, available at sentinelbriefing.com, published by Sentinel Briefing.

Definitions: "Service" means the Sentinel Briefing platform and all its features. "User" means any natural or legal person accessing the Service. "Customer" means the entity that has subscribed to a plan. "Content" means articles, analyses, summaries and data available on the platform.

2. Service Description

Sentinel Briefing is a multi-topic strategic intelligence SaaS platform. It enables the automatic collection, analysis and summarisation of information sources using artificial intelligence. The Service includes:

  • Collection and aggregation of configurable information sources
  • Automatic AI-powered article analysis and classification
  • Generation of summaries and periodic digests
  • Management of thematic watch profiles
  • Search and annotation features

3. User Account

Access to the Service requires creating an account. The User agrees to provide accurate information and to keep their credentials confidential. All use of the account is the User's responsibility. In the event of suspected compromise, the User must immediately notify the publisher at contact@sentinelbriefing.com.

Users must not: access the Service by unauthorised means, share credentials with third parties, or use the Service for unlawful purposes or in breach of these Terms.

4. Subscription

The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Pricing is defined at the time of subscription. Subscriptions are automatically renewed at expiry unless cancelled by the User in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 6.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices are quoted in euros, excluding applicable taxes. VAT will be applied in accordance with French or European legislation in force at the time of invoicing. Invoices are issued monthly or annually depending on the chosen plan. Payment is made through the methods indicated at subscription.

6. Term and Termination

The subscription is entered into for the duration selected at subscription (monthly or annual). Either party may cancel the subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current period. In the event of a material breach of these Terms, the publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate access immediately and without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Sentinel Briefing platform, its source code, interface, algorithms and brand remain the exclusive property of Sentinel Briefing. Any unauthorised reproduction, modification or distribution is strictly prohibited.

Content generated by artificial intelligence (analyses, summaries) is provided for informational purposes only. The publisher does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose. Users remain responsible for the interpretation and use of such content.

Data and content created or imported by the User remain their property. The publisher holds a limited licence solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The publisher does not guarantee any particular result, nor continuous availability (availability target: 99%, excluding planned maintenance).

In any event, the publisher's liability is capped at the amounts actually paid by the Customer during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages, data loss, loss of revenue or commercial prejudice.

9. Personal Data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, the User acknowledges having read it.

10. Changes to Terms

The publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any material change will be notified to Users by email with at least 30 days' notice before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after this period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall be subject, failing amicable resolution, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Paris (Tribunal de commerce de Paris).
